Recipe of Oats Dosa

Oats Dosa 

Fixing: 

Oats - 2 mugs 

Rava (Sooji) - 1/2 container 

Maida (Plain Flour) - 1/2 container 

Buttermilk - 4 mugs 

Onions - 4, cleaved 

Green Chillies - 6 to 8, cleaved 

Cashew Nuts - 15 to 20, cleaved 

Dark Peppercorns - 2 tsp 

Cumin Seeds - 2 tsp 

Salt according to taste 

Strategy: 

  • Grind the oats to a coarse (or smooth if craved) powder. 
  • Add this to the buttermilk alongside rava, maida and salt. 
  • Blend well. 
  • Grind the cumin seeds and peppercorns. 
  • Add to the hitter. 
  • Include the cashew nuts and blend well. 
  • Include the onions and green chillies. 
  • Mix and blend well. 
  • Heat a tawa over medium fire. 
  • Pour a ladleful of the hitter and spread uniformly. 
  • Apply oil around the edges and cook on both sides until cooked. 
  • Evacuate and exchange to a plate. 
  • Present with onion chutney and sambar.
